8ozItalian sausage links;, casing removed
2 Garlic cloves;, minced
16ozSliced mushrooms
1cn(28oz.) plum tomatoes
1tsSugar
1/4tsSalt
  ** pasta **
1lbPenne or other pasta

Brown sausage with garlic over medium-high heat. Increase heat to high and add mushrooms and cook until browned. Stir in tomatoes, sugar and salt. Simmer on low, uncovered 5 to 8 minutes. Typed by Ethel Snyder Date August 17, 1997
